Accommodation

[ Chairs ] Dovehaven Nursing Home provides a professional but caring environment for all of our residents. The home consists of two fully refurbished Victorian houses linked with a connecting extension to create a single large building.

Bedrooms

Our carehome has individually decorated bedrooms are either single or double occupancy and a number of these rooms are ensuite. We help our residents to make their rooms more homely by moving in their personal belongings.

All of our rooms have a nurse call system installed and all of our care staff have hand held pagers to facilitate immediate response to calls.

The Building

[ Chairs ] Our home is made up of two traditional Victorian detached houses which are typrical in the town of Southport Lanacashire. These have been fully refurbished to modern standards and linked together with a modern extension. Both building’s large gardens have been combined to create a single large garden which is overlooked by our large conservatory. There are also two lounges and two dining areas.

The building is fully accessible for those with disabilities, featuring a passenger lift and several stair lifts. Our bathrooms have a Parker bath, bath chair lifts and a disabled shower.

We also have an in-house laundry service and a housekeeper to ensure that our high standards of hygiene are maintained.

There is also ample parking for visitors.
