Mark and Wendy and Luke Gilbert

Dovehaven Nursing Home is owned and run by Mark and Wendi Gilbert along with their son Luke Gilbert. Each member of the family have extensive experience within the care home field and are hands on owners being involved and visiting the home on a daily basis. [ Staff ]

Carol Leddy

Carol Leddy is the registered manager at the Rest Home, and is qualified with a Level 4 NVQ in Management. Prior to becoming the manager Carol worked within the home as the Deputy and has extensive experience in caring for the elderly.

Care Staff

Carol leads a team of staff who are experienced and highly trained. They all have either an NVQ in care or are working towards one, as well as having additional courses appertaining to the care of the elderly. All Senior Carers are also key workers responsible especially for a small group of service users ensuring that the optimum level of care is achieved along with the personal touch that gives the rest home its 5star rating.

Catering

Another very important team of people are the catering staff. We have two cooks working alongside a support staff in the catering department. The cook is responsible for providing high standards of food and beverages for residents and maintains the highest levels of food hygiene. We have regular reviews of all menus and welcome comments and suggestions from residents and their families on any aspect of the catering service.

Maintenance and Domestic Staff

There are also domestic and maintenance staff working throughout the home, responsible for cleaning, laundry and maintenance services.
