Philosophy of care in Dovecote Manor

[ Dovecote Manor Yard ] At Dovecote Manor, our service users enjoy the benefit of community living whilst being reassured that there is care available should they require it 24hrs a day. All care is prompted by the service users stated need, and offered in a professional unobtrusive manner, whilst maintaining each service users independence, dignity and privacy. Our service users all have individual care plans, designed by themselves in conjunction with the care staff, focusing on what they can do for themselves and not what they can no longer do. Service users who wish to spend time with us do so in a safe and caring environment, confident in the knowledge that all their personal and social needs will be met in a professional manner.

All service users are encouraged to maintain links with previous friends, societies, groups and churches – assistance is given where required for these contacts to be maintained.
