Staff
Dovehaven House is owned and run by Mr and Mrs Gilbert who both work full time in the Dovehaven Care Homes and who both have in excess of twenty years experience in the management of care homes.
Peter Brookfield has been the Manager at Dovehaven House since February 2000, prior to becoming the Manager he was Deputy Manager and has worked in the care industry for over 15 years. He is qualified to NVQ level 4 in Management.
Stephen Rogers is the Deputy Manager and leads the care team consisting of carers and senior carers. Dovehaven House staff are highly trained with 25% qualified to NVQ level 2 and a number of other staff working towards the qualification.
Another very important team at Dovehaven is the catering staff. We have a full time cook and a part time cook who work alongside support staff in the catering department. The cook is responsible for maintaining the high standards of food and drinks for residents and is also responsible for the highest levels of food safety and hygiene.
The final team who work at Dovehaven House is the domestic service and maintenance staff who look after all the cleaning, laundry and maintenance of the home.
