Nursing Home Facilities

Our kitchen is a large very well laid out, equipped and modern part of the building. Part of our individual care planning process is the provision of specifically designed menus for each client to enjoy. Clients are encouraged to make choices about what they eat, when and where they eat as well as how they like their meals presented. Our chefs are an integral part of the homes team and as such are involved in every aspect of the client's dietary needs.

[ Dining ]We have a team of domestics and laundry staff who support the care staff in providing an essential service to all our clients.

We encourage outside professionals to visit and support the home, these include a Hairdresser, Chiropodist, Dentist, Optician, Clergy as well as the clients own GP's. The home also has close links with the Community Mental Health Nurses and Psychiatrist's.

We are in the process of developing a visual and auditory sensory room within Millbrook, which we feel, will enhance the quality of life for our clients. A full activity programme is in operation along with opportunities to participate in trips out using our specially adapted minibus.
