Nursing Home Facilities

We have a specially designed relaxation room, Snoozelam, which incorporates a bubble tube, fibre optic wall carpet, ceiling twirler and projector. This facility is used by all service users on a one on one basis as well as in small groups for both relaxation and has been proven to reduce levels of agitation and wandering. The Snoozelam is used as part of our full and varied activity programme, which enhances the quality of life for all our service users. Activities on offer include reminiscence, crafts, quiz’s, games and trips out in our own minibus.

[ Dining ]We have a team of domestics and laundry staff who support the care staff in providing an essential service to all our clients.

We encourage outside professionals to visit and support the home, these include a Hairdresser, Chiropodist, Dentist, Optician, Clergy as well as the clients own GP's. The home also has close links with the Community Mental Health Nurses and Psychiatrist's.
